First, your walk; then, your work. Your work for the Lord must always be the overflow of your walk with the Lord. I define ministry as being full of Jesus Christ and slopping over onto others.

James wrote that the tongue "is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body" (3:6). Making that principle positive, when we choose to restrain our tongues, we develop habits to restrain our bodies. After all, controlling the tongue is an inner discipline.
Too often we experience shame over the wrong issues or in too great a degree. Paul, in Romans 1:16, drew an important boundary around shame. He marked off the things of Christ, leaving shame to the realm of the sinful and disobedient.
The most significant verse he [Paul] ever penned about spiritual transformation is Romans 12:2. . . . “Do not be conformed to this world,” he tells us, “but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” . . . Think of what Paul could have said—but did not. He could have said, be transformed by developing feelings of closeness with God, by exercising your will in obeying biblical commands, by intensifying your desire for the right things, by fellowship and worship, and so on.

New Life Assembly is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a Bible believing Church; we believe in the inerrancy of the word of God and that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). As a first time visitor to the Church, we know you are either passing through or will probably stay and become a member of the Church; either way we cherish you as a member of the body of Christ and do believe that the Lord God will keep you and guide you through your walk with Him.
The Church is a praying Church and we believe that as Christians we need to pray always and not to get weary, hence the theme for the Church – House of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7); lf you do not already go to a bible believing church, you are welcome to worship the Lord with us.
